Poor photo quality is rarely one problem. A photo that looks bad usually has three or four things wrong at once — a little blur, a little noise, compression damage, colour that has gone flat. Fixing them one at a time in an editor makes each fix undo part of the last.

How is this different from editing the photo myself?
